IMPORTANT INFO!

Hello Parents,

We are in full-throttle mode for this season and preparing for the Indoor Season of 2018.  Thank you to Jerry Rivera, Daniel Cason (grill masters) and the many other parents that have been supporting our kids this marching season.  There is so much more work to do and we need your help.  Below is important information regarding the next several weeks.  Please read through and please help where you are able:

SnapRaise - 18 DAYS LEFT!

Our SnapRaise campaign is under way!! As of today, we have raised over $4,000 of our $7,000 goal.  We are at 85% participation. Please make sure you share your students' SnapRaise link on social media so we can finish out strong.  Our goal is to have 100% participation so we can get the best rate of return on the program!

IMPORTANT!!!
Homecoming Parade Concessions, Wednesday May 3rd, 4:00pm-8:00pm
At our last meeting, we discussed another concession/meal fundraiser at the Homecoming Parade.  This has been approved, so we are moving forward.  J. Paul Tolbert will be manning the grill again (THANK YOU!).  We will be offering hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and water for purchase at the event.  There are many students there setting up their booths in the parking lot and many spectators that come to the event, but there has not been snack or dinner food available in prior years.  This could be a great money maker for us possibly.  The more items we get donated, the better off we will be.  The funds from this will go to upgrading our kids to a nicer hotel this year in Dayton!

Please click here for the sign up genius to help us get the supplies and help we need:

Alliance Air Show
October 28th and 29th (8am-5pm)

We have submitted our registration form for this event.  We will need 14 people each day (8am-5pm) to meet their requirements. In addition, our volunteers will need to be 18 or older.   This year we will each need to fill out an individual registration form prior to arrival.  I have attached the form for you.  If EVERY FAMILY HAS 1 PERSON VOLUNTEER, we will fill the need.  Please sign up here.
PIT CREW
We are in need of 6 people for each contest and game for pit crew to help move our pit equipemen on and off the field.  At home games, this will get you free admission to the home games.  Please sign up below if you will be at the events and can help.  I have put all events in One Sign Up Genius for you all here.

Fall Drumline T-Shirts
For those of you that have not picked up your ordered blue shirts, I will have them available this weekend.  Just please reach out to me to make arrangements to get them.  Also, I will be delivering the student shirts to school tomorrow.

For those of you who ordered the "Winter is Coming" shirts - I will also have those available tomorrow.  Just text me to coordinate.

Indoor Fees
If you are on the 7 month plan, your September payment is now past due if you have not paid to date. The total amount is $350 for the 1st month.  If you are on the 10 month plan, your September payment is $192.50 (if you are current).  Payments are Now Past Due.

Please plan to pay in a timely manner, as we are already beginning to plan and pay out certain expenses for our indoor season.  You can bring payment to the t-shirt pickup night or mail them to:

If you need to know your current balance or want your student's statement, please let me know.  Those of you who have already paid, thank for the month, thank you!

UPCOMING FUNDRAISING

This event will be here before you know it!  We want all your goodies as you go through closets this Fall.   Also, reach out to friends and family for goodies.   Please make sure it is in decent condition for the event.  Last year, we dealt with an entire truckload of items that went to the trash.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Lakeview Fellowship Fall Festival - Wednesday, October 25th (Battery Only)

BPD PICTURES FOR OUR ANNUAL SLIDESHOW
As we are all beginning to take pictures of our students and our group, please share those photos through the  App called "Cluster".  They have an app for Iphone/Android.  The top link is for 2017-18 Seniors and the bottom link is for all students. The more pictures John has to work with, the better our slideshow will be at the end of the year.   Also, senior parents, please upload pictures of your kids from all years in the program and any other special pictures you may have.

In Thanks!
