Sizzling Sideline Dinner Fundraiser

Hello All,
We are only a few days away from our Sizzlng SIdeline dinner fundraiser.  We are serving a full steak dinner.  In order for our 1s attempt at this to be successful, we are asking BPD parents to help us with all the fixings for the dinner.  The sign up genius link is below.  We are going to have a great time on Friday night.  We would love your help.

Alliance Air Show Volunteer Information

The 2018 Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show is ONLY 3 DAYS AWAY!   Below are some notes and tidbits of information for you…please make sure you read this the entire way through. J
We could also use some help on Saturday.  We are short 3 people to make it manageable that day.  Please help if you can, even it is only from 10am-3pm.  The link is below:
Both days, we will meet at the Boswell Parking Lot and carpool over to the event.  Please arrive in dress code by 7am.  We will leave promptly at 7.  The dress code is a BPD shirt with tan/blue/black or khaki pants/jeans or shorts.
Below are all the other details for the day:
BOOTH- Our booth is Booth #5.  We are scheduled to be there both days from 8am - 5pm.  
REGISTRATION – In case you or your staff needs to know where registration is, it is located near the main entrance.

Below are a few important updates for everyone around fundraising, the season and fees:
We have 2 upcoming fundraisers we need your help with:
BooRays Spirit Night This Wednesday, October 3rd 5pm - 9pm
Pleas share the attached flyer on all your social media pages and come Wednesday night for a meal. 10% of the proceeds benefit our program and kids!

Alliance AirShow Saturday and Sunday, October 13th and 14th 8am- 5pm
We are still in need of ALOT of help at this event.  If every family had 1 parent volunteer for this event, we would be a lot closer to where we need to be.   The biggest need is on Sunday. Please sign up to help!
I sent statements out to all families yesterday regarding the status of your student's account.  Please note that as of today, the October payment is due by the 15th.  If you are past due please make arrangements with me to get your student's account current.

Important Information/ Parent Social

Hello BPD Parents,

We are only a few weeks from the beginning of Summer Band Camp.  With that, comes the beginning of lots of planning and events for BPD.  Below are list of upcoming events and a few fundraisers we have on the books for end of Summer/Fall.  
Summer Parent Social
Since we will be spending alot of time together, we like to gather over the summer to get to know each other.  It gives a chance to welcome Freshman parents and spend time with upperclasman parents we have not seen all summer. Fun will be had by all.  The Grandparent WIllis' have offered for us to use their lakehouse.  BPD will be providing smoked chicken.  We are asking parents to bring a potuck side or dessert  Below are the details for the social, as well as a sign up genius so we can all see what we are bringing.

Welcome New Parents and BPD Students, Registration and Drum Camp

Hello BPD Parents and Students,
I want to introduce myself to those of you that are new to BPD.  My name is Jessica South.  I am the parent of 1 alumni BPD member and 1 Sophomore member, Aidan South.  I serve as the VP to BPD and on the BOG Booster Board.  I am honored to have been a part of this organization for the last 4 years.  This is a special group of students, parents and directors.  We feel honored to have new faces joining the group.  
Below are some important information about the summer schedule.
Summer Drum Camp Monday, June 4th - Thursday, June 7th 
Daily Schedule 8:00am - 12:00pm Morning Rehearsal 12:00pm - 1:30pm Lunch Break (on own) 1:30pm - 4:30pm Afternoon Rehearsal

Dayton Parent Information and Other IMPORTANT Information

Hello Parents,

Our kids leave for Dayton in 8 DAYS! The kids have worked SO HARD and have conquered so many obstacles for a young group!  We are SO PROUD!  If you have not been out to see them perform and are not coming to Ohio, I highly encourage you to come see them this Saturday.  It is the NTCA Championships at Burleson Centennial High School. Below is a list of items in regards to Dayton and upcoming events for the year end. 

Parent Meeting
Thursday, April 12th @ 6:30pm
We are having our monthly parent meeting THIS THURSDAY.  We will cover all our regular business and then have a Dayton Travel meeting for all parents.  Please plan to attend so you will get all the details for your students' travel.

NTCA Host Color Guard Contest AND other Information 1/7/17

Hello ALL BPD Parents and Students,

Happy New Year to each of you!  We are deep into planning our winter show for the upcoming season.   It is getting exciting for the season to begin.  Below is VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

As you all know, our next fundraiser is ONLY 4 WEEKS AWAY.  Mr Spoon sent out a Remind 101 to all parents to save the date:  Saturday, February 3rd.   This will be an ALL DAY event.  We will be co-hosting this event with the Boswell ColorGuard.  Each group has the opportunity to make over $3,000 in one day, but we will NEED ALL PARENTS/STUDENT TO PARTICIPATE.  For your student, this event is MANDATORY.
I have attached the sign-up genius.  Please review the areas of opportunities and sign up in an area that you can help.
Our goal is that this event will be something that both groups can use ongoing after this year, as long as we are successful.
