Summer BPD Update 7/31/2017

Hello Everyone,

WOW!  What a GREAT WEEKEND for BPD.  Thank you to the McWhorter's for hosting such a fun night of fellowship!  Everyone had a great time!  Thank you for sending your kids to the carwash the next morning!  It was fairly successful for a quiet day.  Thank you to Jerry Rivera for hanging out with me and the kids that morning!

The August Calendar is quickly filling up with "All things Band".  Please see below the information for us for the next 2 weeks.  


BPD Band Camp Dinner Fundraiser
Our 2nd Annual Summer Band Camp dinner fundraiser is only 3 days out.  We still have a few items of need.  If you are able, please sign up for an item. If you are signed up to serve that day, please arrive by 330pm to be ready to serve by 4pm.  Kids are released at 4pm, so we wll offer food from 4pm-6pm.  Also, please don't forget to send your student with $5 for dinner that evening. 


SnapRaise Fundraiser
One of our most successful fundraisers last year was our SnapRaise fundraiser.  It was not only very profitable for us, but required very little work on our part.  All we have to do is send our kids with a minimum of 20 emails to the Kick-Off Event.  Then they take the work from there.  They will create a short video of our kids and the website link.  They will also send out the reminders weekly for the 4 week campaign.  Yes, they do take a percentage, but so do most fundraising opportunities.  The key is PARTCIPATION.  The higher percentage of our kids that participate, the higher percentage we get to keep.  Last year, we had 100% partipation.  WE ARE SHOOTING FOR 100% AGAIN!

Our SnapRaise meeting with the kids will be Monday, August 7th at 5pm.
(Please be have your email list prepared at this time and send with your student.  We will feed the kids pizza that night since there will not be long dinner break for them.)

BAND MAKE-UP REGISTRATION DAY
Tuesday, August 8th 6pm - 8pm

Drumline Parent Meeting
We are moving our meeting.  This is due to a conflict with the BOG Booster calendar.  Dave and I must be at a financial audit on the 10th.  I am working with Dave and Mr Spoon on a new date.  I will post on FB and email once I confirm a new date. 

BPD Registration Fees
If you are on the 10 Payment Schedule and have not made the July payment, please reach out to me to make arrangements for that.  The August payment is due by August 15th.
