BDP Important Information

Hello BPD Parents,

We had a great weekend at WGI Dallas, placing 3rd for the day and 6th overall in the Nation!  WHOOHOO!

This is upcoming week is a HUGE week for us!  Below are the highlights and things that need you as parents to take action on or get involved with.   We have 2 HUGE FUNDRAISERS NEXT WEEKEND that we need all parents to help with.

NTCA COLORGUARD HOST SHOW
Friday, March 1st 5pm

We are teaming up with Boswell Colorguard to host a Friday night contest.  This means we have the change to make approximately $1500-2000 for each group on Friday night.  But, we need all parents to sign up for a slot to volunteer and help that evening.  Below is the sign up genius for you to sign up if you have not done so already.  J Paul will be cooking so we have a big need to have strong people in our concession stand.  Please consider giving your time to this great event:

We will be having a parent volunteer meeting, tomorrow night at 6pm at Boswell in the small band hall.

DRUMMIN AND FUNNIN
Saturday, March 2nd 730pm

This Saturday we are having our 1st Comedy Night Fundraiser.  "Cowboy" Bill Martin, a Boswell Alumn and previous BOG drum capton will be giving a benefit comedy show with participation from BPD and LIft Off students.

Action Required:  Each BPD student was given 10 TICKETS TO SELL.  That money is due back tomorrow evening at the night block of practice.  If for some reason, a student did not sell all their tickets, the unsold tickets must be returned with the money of the sold tickets.

Action Required:  Please share the link below all week on all your social media platforms.  We are trying to get to 700 guest to the show!  The FB Eventbrite link is below:

PARENT MEETING
Monday, February 25th, 7pm

We will have our monthly parent meeting tomorrow evening at 7pm in the Black Box thru Door 10.   Note the time change due to a NTCA volunteer meeting prior.  We will be talking all things for the week our WGI Houston trip and all things Dayton!  Please plan to attend.  These meetings are the best way to stay connected to all the happenings.

I want to say a very large thank you to all the parents that helped make yesterday such a great success for our kiddos.

In Thanks,

Jessica South
