Drumline Weekly Information 8/14/2016

Hello Parents and Students,

Great job BPD and the entire Boswell Band.  You did a great job at SportsFest!

PRACTICE SCHEDULE FOR 8/15-8/19.  
Drumline will be practicing from 1-4pm and 6-9pm.  Kids should enjoy their morning off. 

T-SHIRTS/HOODIES 
T-shirts and hoodies are IN!  I will bring them to our Parent Meeting next Tuesday.   Payment will be due before receipt of shirts/hoodies!  I do have extras of the t-shirts as well.  The price is $12. 

PARENT MEETING
Our next parent meeting is Tuesday, August 19th at 6:30pm through Door 10 in the "black box". 

FUNDRAISING
Mad Decent Block Party - August 26th 12pm-12am.  Please considering volunteering.  The 1st shift is full, but the Need is in the evening shift from 6pm-12am.  WE NEED 3 MORE VOLUNTEERS.  I must give our list of volunteers to spectrum by Friday, August 19th.  The sign-up genius link is below:

UPCOMING EVENTS/PERFORMANCES
Ice Cream Social - Friday, August 19th 6pm-9pm 
Hot Dog meals will be available starting at 6:30pm.  General Band Booster Meeting at 7:30pm in the stands.  Kids perform at 8:30-9pm).
Reminder to all Parents:  If you or a family member will be unable to make this event, please let Mr. Spoon know.  Also, please wear your BPD T-shirt to this event.  We would like to show a great presence!

Hello BPD Parents, We had a great weekend at WGI Dallas, placing 3rd for the day and 6th overall in the Nation!  WHOOHOO! This is upcoming week is a HUGE week for us!  Below are the highlights and things that need you as parents to take action on or get involved with.   We have 2 HUGE FUNDRAISERS NEXT WEEKEND that we need all parents to help with. Dayton Parent Information and Other IMPORTANT Information

Hello Parents, Our kids leave for Dayton in 8 DAYS! The kids have worked SO HARD and have conquered so many obstacles for a young group!  We are SO PROUD!  If you have not been out to see them perform and are not coming to Ohio, I highly encourage you to come see them this Saturday.  It is the NTCA Championships at Burleson Centennial High School. Below is a list of items in regards to Dayton and upcoming events for the year end.  Parent Meeting Thursday, April 12th @ 6:30pm We are having our monthly parent meeting THIS THURSDAY.  We will cover all our regular business and then have a Dayton Travel meeting for all parents.  Please plan to attend so you will get all the details for your students' travel. Welcome New Parents and BPD Students, Registration and Drum Camp

Hello BPD Parents and Students, I want to introduce myself to those of you that are new to BPD.  My name is Jessica South.  I am the parent of 1 alumni BPD member and 1 Sophomore member, Aidan South.  I serve as the VP to BPD and on the BOG Booster Board.  I am honored to have been a part of this organization for the last 4 years.  This is a special group of students, parents and directors.  We feel honored to have new faces joining the group.   Below are some important information about the summer schedule.
