Summer BPD Update 8/7/17

I love being able to say "Thank You" so often to this group of parents and students.  YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!  We had an amazing band camp dinner and earned over $800 in just a few short hours.  I am beyond grateful!!


BAND MAKE-UP REGISTRATION DAY
Tomorrow night is Band AND Drumline make-up registration day!  If you have not registered your student, please plan to attend this make up session.  

Tuesday, August 8th 6pm - 8pm (In the Band Hall)

COMMUNITY LINK "BACK TO SCHOOL" BASH
This Saturday, August 12th - 8am

The battery will be joining Mr Spoon this Saturday for the Community Link Mission Back to School Bash.  All 3 High School Drumlines will be performing.  We will be up 1st, so we must arrive no later than 8am at TCC.  Mr Spoon will be communicating more as the week comes to an end.  This is such a great way for our kids to give back and support a HUGE event for Community Link. 

SnapRaise Fundraiser
We have moved our Kick-Off Date to Monday, September 18th at 5pm.  This will happen right after school before the night block of practice.  Please take this extra time to add more emails to your list for your student.  We chose to move the date to be able to have one more parent meeting prior to the launch, as well as have all students registered prior to launch. 

Drumline Parent Meeting
Mr Spoon, Dave and myself are meeting prior to make-up registration to set a new date for a parent meeting.  I will send a seperate email once this is solidified.

We need your stuff. Please save any items you may be thinking of donating.  Now is a great time to clean out the closets for the school year and we would love to have your goodies.

BPD Registration Fees
If you are on the 10 Payment Schedule and have not made the July payment, please reach out to me to make arrangements for that.  The August payment is due by August 15th.

Hello BPD Parents, We had a great weekend at WGI Dallas, placing 3rd for the day and 6th overall in the Nation!  WHOOHOO! This is upcoming week is a HUGE week for us!  Below are the highlights and things that need you as parents to take action on or get involved with.   We have 2 HUGE FUNDRAISERS NEXT WEEKEND that we need all parents to help with. Welcome New Parents and BPD Students, Registration and Drum Camp

Hello BPD Parents and Students, I want to introduce myself to those of you that are new to BPD.  My name is Jessica South.  I am the parent of 1 alumni BPD member and 1 Sophomore member, Aidan South.  I serve as the VP to BPD and on the BOG Booster Board.  I am honored to have been a part of this organization for the last 4 years.  This is a special group of students, parents and directors.  We feel honored to have new faces joining the group.   Below are some important information about the summer schedule. Dayton Parent Information and Other IMPORTANT Information

Hello Parents, Our kids leave for Dayton in 8 DAYS! The kids have worked SO HARD and have conquered so many obstacles for a young group!  We are SO PROUD!  If you have not been out to see them perform and are not coming to Ohio, I highly encourage you to come see them this Saturday.  It is the NTCA Championships at Burleson Centennial High School. Below is a list of items in regards to Dayton and upcoming events for the year end.  Parent Meeting Thursday, April 12th @ 6:30pm We are having our monthly parent meeting THIS THURSDAY.  We will cover all our regular business and then have a Dayton Travel meeting for all parents.  Please plan to attend so you will get all the details for your students' travel.
