Drumline Weekly and Information 2/2/2017

Hope everyone is having a great week.  Please see below important information for the week:

DRUMLINE PARENT MEETING

We will be moving our monthly drumline parent meeting to Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30pm in the black box.  Mr Spoon wanted us to meet a little sooner before our 1st contest happens on the 18th.  Please mark your calendars accordingly. 

WINTER FEES

The February payment is now due.  Please plan to mail or bring to the meeting next week.  Lots of things are happening and it is very exciting but it requires that we all pay timely. 

WINTER SHOW PROP 

The prototype for the props will be complete by this week.  Mike South is looking for several hand to help him build the remaining 4 pieces.  Our goal is to be using our props for every contest.  With this as the goal, we will need 4-5 dads (or moms) to help at the South house this Saturday and next to complete these on time.  His cell # is 817/233-1839.  Please text him if you are available to help. 

NTCA CONTEST NEEDS - FEBRUARY 18TH
(This is our 1st contest of the Season)

Meal Coordinator - Coordinate 2 meals for the kids that day (Either breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner).  

If you are available to help with this, please email me back and let me know.

SWEATSHIRTS

I have had 2 parents reach out with regards to their sweatshirts.  The company will be replacing them.  If there is any others that had the same issue with the tear in the front, please let me know so I can replace them for you.

We also have more available.  Dayton is chilly so it will be a good addition the the travel wardrobe.

Hello BPD Parents, We had a great weekend at WGI Dallas, placing 3rd for the day and 6th overall in the Nation!  WHOOHOO! This is upcoming week is a HUGE week for us!  Below are the highlights and things that need you as parents to take action on or get involved with.   We have 2 HUGE FUNDRAISERS NEXT WEEKEND that we need all parents to help with. Welcome New Parents and BPD Students, Registration and Drum Camp

Hello BPD Parents and Students, I want to introduce myself to those of you that are new to BPD.  My name is Jessica South.  I am the parent of 1 alumni BPD member and 1 Sophomore member, Aidan South.  I serve as the VP to BPD and on the BOG Booster Board.  I am honored to have been a part of this organization for the last 4 years.  This is a special group of students, parents and directors.  We feel honored to have new faces joining the group.   Below are some important information about the summer schedule. Dayton Parent Information and Other IMPORTANT Information

Hello Parents, Our kids leave for Dayton in 8 DAYS! The kids have worked SO HARD and have conquered so many obstacles for a young group!  We are SO PROUD!  If you have not been out to see them perform and are not coming to Ohio, I highly encourage you to come see them this Saturday.  It is the NTCA Championships at Burleson Centennial High School. Below is a list of items in regards to Dayton and upcoming events for the year end.  Parent Meeting Thursday, April 12th @ 6:30pm We are having our monthly parent meeting THIS THURSDAY.  We will cover all our regular business and then have a Dayton Travel meeting for all parents.  Please plan to attend so you will get all the details for your students' travel.
